Myrtle Beach Murrells Inlet Fishing Charters Boat & Tackle Info

The tackle you will use is almost as important as the boats you will be fishing on. While on either of these charter boats you will have Penn tackle and Shimano fishing gear,  As the owner of this business and having chartered dozens of fishing GUIDES myself I can tell you there is something special about having top notch equipment to fish with on your Myrtle Beach fishing charters.  I once fought a 500 pound swordfish off of Cabo San Lucas Mexico for over 4 hours only to lose him to a reel freezing up.  That gear was not taken care of nor maintained and that loss was brutal.  I promise you I didn’t fish that boat again, though I did fish on another boat for 3 days with a great crew and great gear.  My charter is set up with light tackle fishing in mind ,where we try to use the lightest tackle possible to give you the best fight relative to the fishes size.  mY Tackle on board these charter boats ranges from 10lb test line and small light weight reels , up to 200 lb test line and stout offshore rods.  I want you to have a great trip and will do everything in my power to put the odds in your favor when we battle what the ocean offers us.

If you have a species in mind that you would like to target , give me a call and I Can tell you the best time of year to target that.   If you are looking for a huge trophy fish to put up in your home,  let me know,  Or if you are just wanting to have your son or daughter catch their first fish and have action, I can help you out with that too.   I appreciate every day on the water and look forward to showing you a great time while you are here in Myrtle Beach.

Can’t wait to see you on the water!

Additional Trip Info

Fishing trips inshore offer some of the best scenery and nature tours you can get.  Osprey and Bald Eagles are frequently hunting the same areas we are fishing in.  Offshore baitfish schools number 100,000’s of fish and predators attack and feed on them before your eyes.  Bringing home a nice dinner is a great way to end the day but just the experience of getting out to nature and battling some of Myrtle Beach’s hardest fighting fish and seeing the habitat they live in is worth the trip.   Its great watching a fishing show or nature show on TV but actually being part of it is a lot more enjoyable than sitting at home watching someone else experience it.

Capt Cush runs Charters year round and something is always biting out there.  So whether its the middle of summer or middle of winter or anytime in between , get out, call Cush and go fish Myrtle Beach.

We use top of the line equipment and are boat is professionally maintained .  The fishing gear is top of the line as well and Capt Cush does everything possible to put the odds in your favor in the pursuit of Gamefish off the SC and NC coasts.   Your trip can be customized to fit your goals so make sure to ask the Captain about what he thinks is the best bite and tell him what you would like to target.   With 2 boats,  every fish that swims can be targeted based on conditions and time of year.  Most importantly, enjoy yourself out on the water.  Catching is great , but the whole experience of getting out there and being part of Nature is what brings people back year after year.
